In these first weeks of May Milan turns into a big food city with hundreds of food-themed events spread all over the territory.
In conjunction with TuttoFood, the international fair dedicated to agri-food scheduled at Fieramilano, both the Milan Food Week from 2nd to 8th May and the third edition of the Milan Food City from 3rd to 9th May are held, a project planned and coordinated by the Municipality of Milan to help spread a new food culture that focuses on fighting food waste.
The Milan Food Week 2019 represents the flavor of taste with free public meetings and events. Piazza Duomo is the nerve center of the activities and beating heart of Milan Food Week 2019 which brings together 40 chefs involved in storycooking and 4 thematic cuisines in the city:
– Stage Kitchen in Piazza Duomo, dedicated to the most spectacular events of the week of food
– Lifestyle Kitchen at CityLife where the best gastronomic trends converge
– Fashion Kitchen at the Brian & Barry Building in San Babila, where fashion will meet food
– Young Kitchen at Iulm, theater of debates, experiences and laboratories in the university
Many themes to show the change in the sector over the last decade and to fully enjoy the week of food. These are the ingredients of the Milan Food Week, now in its tenth edition, ten years represented by as many themes to offer the framework of a constantly evolving sector.
