When it comes to high-quality restaurants a special mention goes to the Lady Chefs, high-level artists who are very appreciated in the most prestigious kitchens. Awards to Lady Chef are many and their work is a real pride for our country. A recent example is that of Karime Lopez Moreno Tagle, Mexican of origin, who today leads the kitchen of Gucci Osteria by Massimo Bottura and who has been awarded by Acqua Panna and S. Pellegrino as the Best Woman Chef of the Year. The event took place during the presentation of the 2019 edition of the Identità Golose Guide: “We are proud to attribute this year the Best Woman Chef award to a professional like Karime Lopez, who has been able to put into practice with great skill and balance the teachings of his teacher Massimo Bottura “(Camilla Cancellieri, Brand Manager of Acqua Panna and S.Pellegrino).
Another significant event occurred last month when the National Assembly of Lady Chefs in Assisi for a total of 100 chefs. For two days the professionals celebrated their work with good cooking, training courses, meetings and round tables. The women of the Italian Chefs Federation were confronted on topics that are fundamental for the future of this profession and on many projects, among which the knowledge and the culture of cooking in primary schools. The main theme of the meeting was the rediscovery and enhancement of the typical local products that the land can offer in each season.
In the kitchen we need strength, organization and creativity, and we know that women certainly do not lack these requirements. Congratulations to the entire female team that represents Italian catering!
