The new revitalization and redevelopment project of Borgo San Felice combines high-level catering, luxury and tradition. The three-year renovation of the Relais & Châteaux involved the entire village. This famous Tuscan village, opened in 1991, includes a 5-star hotel, two restaurants, a swimming pool, a gym, tennis courts, a spa and many other comforts. Given the size of the location, catering certainly has a fundamental and excellent role. From this year the multi-starred chef Enrico Bartolini has been appointed head of the two restaurants in Borgo San Felice, which in turn wanted the young chef Juan Camilo Quintero to be the executive chef to better manage the restaurants’ offer in the structure.
Quintero a bold choice between technique and tradition
Juan Camilo Quintero – 29 years of Colombian origins, studied at the Unisg in Pollenzo and is already well known in the restaurant world for working with Massimo Bottura – he will be responsible for both restaurants, but under Bartolini’s supervision. The Poggio Rosso, the hotel top restaurant, is the gourmet restaurant that won its first Michelin star in 2018, while the Osteria del Grigio offers a simpler and more familiar cuisine without sacrificing quality.
The Borgo San Felice will be officially reopened on 10 April 2019, we are all curious to see the inauguration that will surely be full of surprises.
